The
Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) will hold the 13th
Annual Forum on Mineral Resources Development and Geosciences
on November 14-16, 2003 at the Crispin Hall, Petrolab Building,
MGB Compound, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
The
theme for this year’s forum is “Mining, Geosciences
and Environmental Responsibility: Working Partners for Sustainable
Development.”
Hightlighting
the activity is the presentation of thirty-five (35) technical papers
prepared by MGB personnel from the central and regional offices.
The papers to presented mostly deal with mining, geology, metallurgy,
mining environment, social and community development, and policy.
The
MGB Central Office Divisions will also hand various professional
awards to selected former Bureu employees who have exemplary achievements
in their fields.
