The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) recently released the updated list of deputized Geodetic Engineers (GEs) who are authorized to execute mineral land surveys, submit survey returns and withdraw defective survey returns in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2010-21 (“Providing for a Consolidated DAO for the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 7942, otherwise known as the “Philippine Mining Act of 1995”).

Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 2012-02, issued on April 30, 2012, lists 92 GEs who updated their information and profile pursuant to the Notice issued by the MGB Director last 23 June 2011. Their deputation shall expire on September 1, 2014.   Said Circular also prescribes the new procedure for the filing of application for accreditation for the other GEs who failed to meet the deadline earlier prescribed by the MGB on August 31, 2011.

A licensed GE may file an application for deputation in one or more MGB Regional Office/s where the mineral land survey will be executed through the payment of required fees and submission of the requirements prescribed under said Circular.
