Issuance of
Sand and Gravel Industrial Permits (5 hectares and above) and
area clearances filed in LGU's including the accreditation of
retailers/traders/processors/ dealers of mineral products; evaluation
of mining rights application (mineral agreements, exploration
permits and financial technical assistance agreement); monitoring
of approved mining rights and mining-related technical services;
investigation of mining conflicts and illegal mining activities;
technical assistance to small scale miners; computer-based retrieval
of tenement information; operation of One-Stop-Shop for advisory
in facilitating mining rights applications.
